THE EU COULD START THINKING ABOUT DEVELOPING AND USING TECHNOLOGY TO PRODUCE SOME GOODS DIRECTLY

We think in familiar patterns. We see economic development as the sum of business activities. However, the goal of companies is profit and customer satisfaction is a waste product. For example, meaningless privatisation brings huge problems.

Guardian article - UK bus privatisation breached basic rights, says ex-UN rapporteur.

The liberalisation of the electricity market in Slovakia has brought increased marketing and trading costs and the need for a special consumer protection law. Prices have not fallen. More health insurers have not improved the state of health care in Slovakia. But it has brought increased costs.

States and cities provide services for citizens - security or education. But also goods, such as water.

The EU could provide other goods for citizens. Naturally, home building and energy are offered. But also manufacturing. For example, products that are imported from outside the EU. If we are to think about the economy of the future, we must not leave out considerations of autonomous factories. And that's where private companies are no longer needed.

The friends of the market certainly disagree. So let them put forward solutions for pension systems or possible hyperinflation.
